Just stopped by for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. The staff was great and the ice cream was absolutely delicious. The vibe was just happy; smiles all around and I even saw the owners giving some nice older ladies extra toppings and hot fudge for their ice creams, just because. All around awesome experience; happy wife and happy kids, we can't wait to go back! Of note, don't know what kind of chocolate chips they use, but the quality of that chocolate was next level. Also, highly recommend the affogato!

Had a great experience at Schoolhouse Ice Cream! There were so many flavors to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. The staff was super friendly and helpful in describing the flavors and answering any questions we had. The people in my group got Llama tracks (similar to a Moosetracks), chocolate peanut butter, coconut chip and I got mint Oreo, which is my favorite, however I rarely see it at ice cream shops. Everything tasted great! We sat at the outdoor seating area, which was great. 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back!

Great day on the cape enjoying ice cream at the SchoolHouse. If you think homemade ice cream is a lost art, you need to check out this place. They have so many flavors to choose from. I went with the Chocolate Peanut Butter and it didn’t disappoint. Just the right mix of peanut butter with a creamy chocolate base. If you’re in Harwich Port you must make a stop.

Schoolhouse has been my family’s go to spot for ice cream for over a decade now. However, the new owners are truly superb and have somehow managed to make it even better. Being able to make my brothers dream flavor of salty caramel Oreo and my dream flavor of coffee moosetracks come to life has been nothing short of a dream. Could not recommend more!

Awesome ice cream, everything is made in the house. Waffle cones were amazing. They even have a flight of ice cream if you want to try up to 6 flavors. New owners are making great improvements !!

My family took a quick trip to the cape yesterday. We visited some friends, grabbed lunch and saw some sights. We finished the day by grabbing an ice cream at The Schoolhouse on our way out of town. This was my first time there and we loved it! It was clean, charming and delicious. The ice cream was super creamy and my Coffee Oreo was tasty and bursting with Oreos! Next time I want to try the Kahlua Crunch. The staff was very friendly and we even chatted with the owners. We visit the area often, so this is our new spot for ice cream. I told all my friends about it when we got home. You won’t be disappointed! They even had a healthy supply of to go containers so you can bring some back to your family! BEST ICE CREAM ON CAPE COD BY FAR!

Awesome Cape Ice Cream Spot. If you’re anywhere near Harwich Port on Cape Cod and don’t stop at Schoolhouse, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best parts of summer. We popped in after a beach day, and from the moment we walked up to the adorable shingled building with its hanging flower baskets and handwritten flavor board, we knew we were in for a treat. The ice cream? Out of this world. I had the Llama Tracks (locals insisted I try it) and I took two quarts home with me. What really sets this place apart is the vibe. The staff were friendly, patient (despite the long line), and even offered generous samples with a smile. We sat outside on a picnic table, and watched the sunset. Don’t skip the homemade waffle cones. And if there’s a line, wait. It’s more than worth it. We’ll be back every summer!!
